There are many products and methods to fill in your eyebrows; creams, powders and crayons are some that I rotate between depending on how my eyebrows are looking or most of the time on how much time I have to do my makeup that day.
Before going through them, let me tell you the main issue I face with my eyebrow. The gaps I have in both my eyebrows are in the starting point which is why I need to be precise with how I fill them in; I then brush the remaining of the product through the rest of my eyebrow for more definition.
When I’m in a rush I automatically go for the powder, I would use any matte brown eyeshadow I have along with an angled brush. Currently I’ve been using the brown shade from the Revlon Colorstay Palette with the Sephora Pro Angled Brush. Powders give you a chance to correct the shape as you are filling your eyebrows in because the formula is not intense but you can build it up as you go. Also, once you have filled them in, you could spray a fixing spray to your brush, add product to the brush and go over the final shape that you are happy with for it to last longer and add some intensity.
If I know I have a little longer to get ready, I go for the crayon. I have been loving the Soap and Glory Archery Filling pencil in Hot Chocolate for about two years now. This product has been called the dupe of Anastasia Brow Wiz - which I haven't tried as of now; let me know if you have -. Because of the small tip, it allows you to draw small strokes where you need to fill your eyebrows in and it has a spooly on the other end, making it easier to brush through your eyebrows while applying the product for a more natural finish.
Make up Forever’s Aqua Brow is a very intense cream formula that is very long lasting. I find the key to using this product is using the absolute minimum amount when you start and building it up to the perfect amount. Also, it is hard to correct any errors unless you remove it with a make up remover and start all over again; that is why I avoid it when I’m in a rush.
Whatever product you choose to go to, make sure you pick a shade a little lighter than your hair colour; my hair is a dark brown to black, I always got for solid brown shades for my eyebrows or else it would give my face a harsh look. And if you are not used to filling your eyebrows in, give it a try with any eyeshadow that matches your shade and it will instantly enhance your makeup.
Revlon Colorstay can be found at all Centrepointoutlets, Sephora Angled Brush is from Sephora and, Soap and Glory Archery is from Boots London and can be found online here and Makeup Forever Aqua Brow is available at make up forever in CCC Qurm.
