About six years ago, I stumbled across a product that instantly became an essential in my hair care routine - the dry shampoo. It is a saviour on busy days, and is incredibly easy to apply.
It comes in an aerosol spray can, you need to shake the product very well, spray it from a distance of about 20cm onto your roots, massage it in and you're done!
While some people find the idea unimpressive, to me it serves two main hair concerns, so I'm officially hooked. The first: oily roots, it's a saviour when there's not enough time to get my hair washed on a busy day, and the second: it adds great volume after drying my hair.
Although the product made my life easier, I really didn't like the white residue it left behind and the strong scent of the ingredients, with time I stopped using it as often.
Recently I got hooked on it again thanks to the S.O.S. Last Another Day, by Andrew Barton. It gave my oily roots a matte finish, smelt of refreshing vanilla and best of all, it didn't leave any white residue.
Tip: After blow drying your hair, flip your head down and spray your roots from a distance of about 20cm, massage the product into your scalp for great volume.
If you are a fan of Kerastase hair products; they have released their first dry shampoo: Kerastase Powder Bluff: it works well with absorbing oil from the roots, leaving no white residue and giving excellent volume. The scent of the product isn't bad at all but I personally prefer the scent of the S.O.S. Last Another Day, by Andrew Barton.
S.O.S Last Another Day is available at Carrefour for RO 2.700 and Kerastase Powder Bluff is available at Beauty Centre Bareeq Al Shatti for RO 15.500 .
