Writing this feels so strange because it felt like yesterday we were researching where we should travel to and what we should for our holiday. I hardly ever go to the same destination twice but both places we visited hold a special place in my heart.
Our trip started in Kuala lumpur, Malaysia, we then took a flight to bali and back to Kuala Lumpur. I will be splitting them into two blog posts to avoid it being too long to follow and this one is dedicated to Beautiful Bali. Read More
Foundation is not an easy makeup product to purchase, there is so much to consider and it can easily look bad if the shade is incorrect or the undertone doesn't match or the formula doesn't match your skin type….and it goes on.
I don’t know if its just me, but sometimes it takes me a long time to figure out that a foundation isn't working for me. I think because we are so close to the mirror when we put our makeup on, it becomes hard to tell if its in line with our overall body colour…maybe its just me. Read More
Everything about this brand gets me excited, their packaging, business concept, instagram page…everything! I tried for the longest time to purchase an entire skincare routine for my skin type on Cult Beauty and failed every time because its always out of stock.

If I could give you one tip only for when you are shopping, buy a diverse piece. This is one of the rules for when I am shopping, I study the piece and try it on with different pieces to make sure its diverse. Of course that doesn't work always but it can be a deal breaker for me.
I love having pieces that I can dress up for a night out or transform to a formal piece with basic alterations to the outfit.
Although I have shared these details a few times by now on my Instagram, I still get loads of questions. I don't mind them at all! but it is easier for everyone if I have them all organised and accessible here.
I have shared the wedding/reception details in this series, but I wanted to add the Henna night details briefly for a reference. I did hire many of the same suppliers but again to avoid any confusion , I will list them all below and some pictures for you to get inspired and me to look back at every now and then. Read More

I was introduced to the Kevin Murphy brand earlier this year and although I have a reputation for purchasing products because of attractive packaging I just didn't need hair products at that point (so unfortunate).
About three months ago I was discussing shampoo with the talented Naila and beautiful Riham and I asked what they would recommend and they immediately suggested the Kevin Murphy range, specifically the plumping Wash and Rinse and I was hesitant. Not from the brand but from the plumping, my hair behaves like Monica’s hair with humidity, not a good look on anyone. Read More

I have been self conscious about my teeth and spent many years - like 15! - being uncomfortable and too embarrassed to point it out to any dentist I visited. Getting my teeth straightened has always been on my mind, but growing up with parents that thought there was ‘nothing’ wrong with them, didn't really encourage me to go ahead with it. Read More
Life changes constantly, and we continue to adapt along the way. Quite a dramatic start to this blog post haha. Just because I never thought I would have the urge to share my favourite home cleaning products. Phew…that out of the way, I honestly am so happy with these products.
When Yousuf and I got married, almost all our groceries purchases were based on what our parents used to buy and we were ‘familiar’ with. I always have the urge to explore new products (usually its make up). Read More
