I must confess that whenever I try to paint my own nails, I fail miserably and end up spending far too much time trying to perfect them. Going to the experts is the way it is until I get the chance to really get this right. Having said that, when challenged with very little "free time" I look for two things in a nail polish brand; a long lasting formula with a range of colours that I fancy.
For the past couple months, the Vinylux collection has been my sanctuary. The Spring 2014 collection has unique shades that are mature and sophisticated. The colour that I have fallen in love with is Convertible Mint 166. It's exactly what the name says; a shade of mint blue with a hint of green. It just looks great with a tan.
Besides the long lasting formula, sunlight enhances the colour, making it perfect for the holidays. It's important to note that you will not need a base coat with this formula, while the accompanying top coat is a must to make sure it dries well and last long.
The Vinylux nail polish and top coat are available at Nails Premiere in Jawharat a'Shatti and retail for RO 7.000 each
