Ever wished there was a lip gloss pigmented like a long lasting lipstick? I might have found what you are wishing for.
Lip gloss tends to be sticky, last for a very short time and the pigmentation is very poor – reminds me of high school when the ultimate makeup product was lip gloss. Lip Lacquers look pretty much like lip glosses from the packaging, however, the formula of the product and it’s applicator are different in the Rimmel London's Apocalips.
The formula of the Rimmel London Apocalips lacquer is so pigmented and gives a fantastic color and a smooth shine as well as a long lasting effect. The angled doe-foot applicator makes this product even more special with its unique reservoir which makes application really easy with a consistent amount of product with each dip.
The three colors I picked up (from the available 8 colors) were: Celestial (101), Nova (102) Big Bang (400) (lightest to darkest, as seen in the images).
I must say, this is definitely my new favorite lip color product and is a revolution for lipsticks. It is amazingly easy to apply, the formula is long lasting and it doesn’t dry the lips. The colors available in this collection range from nudes and pinks which are perfect for everyday to dark bold colors for the evenings – Apocalips have got you covered.
Tip: for the color to last longer, dab your lips lightly with facial tissue after application.
Rimmel London Apocalips is available at Centre Point Outlets and each retails for RO 4.700.
